This week’s guest is Swansea based DJ Adam Kelly, who spins vinyl at Swansea’s techno night, Subversion.
If you like hard/acid/techno/ska then you’re in for a REAL treat
Click HERE for the details for the next Subversion on 9th March, at The Underground
I’ll also be featuring tracks from Oliver Deutschmann’s debut album ‘Out of the Dark’ which is forthcoming on his Vidab label.
Plus tracks from Brooklyn-based producer and Fifth Wall don Divvorce with his Used Experience EP. The EP consists of a collection of four originals and two remixes, marking the second release for the rising Fifth Wall imprint. Equal parts junta rave, punishing warehouse grit, and colorful house and techno, the release bears influence from both 90s rave music and the boring, clinical deep house that pervaded Johnny Depp’s recent Beatport chart. On remix duties, California-based Tectonic artist Grenier reformats E2 into a playful techno cut with a ridiculously fun bass line, and Stockholm-based Rush Hour & Skudge Records producer MRSK flips E3 into a wonky bit of techno that takes a darker acid-tinged turn midway through the tune.
The Used Experience EP will be released both as a limited run vinyl 12” (with two of the originals and both remixes) and as a digital download (with all four originals and both remixes) on March 26.
PLUS more techno from The Black Dog.
