Manchester’s Claro Intelecto – known to the parents who bought him a first synth at age ten as Mark Stewart – is a wise old head when it comes to music production. He learnt the hard way, before the days of downloadable software, instead playing around with tracker programs, wrestling with various sequencers, toying with Octomed and later sampling using Cubase, all the while putting into practice the skills he learnt from his piano tutor.

Radar’s Label of the Month-Tsuba Records UK

Written by emmajayne on . Posted in Events, Feature, News

Radar’s label of the month is Tsuba Records:

Launched in January 2006 by Kevin Griffiths, Tsuba is regarded as one of the world’s key players in underground house music, releasing deep & soulful house and techno. This is not simply PR spin, but a fact backed up by RA’s all time top 100 most charted labels, where Tsuba sits behind Crosstown Rebels as the second UK label in the list.
