Evening all. I wasn’t supposed to be here tonight, but Ursa’s got technical problems so I’m providing emergency cover and thought I’d play some breakbeat, as it’s been a little while.
Still having some difficulties myself (as I announced yesterday), but I will get my kit back soon. In the meantime, here’s an ancient vinyl set from 2004, followed by some more recent prog breaks, and a little DNB to finish up with. Enjoy.
Hail and welcome. It’s just me tonight. I’ve had a bit of a catastrophic equipment failure in a club. Specifically, the headphone socket on my Traktor S2 has packed in and I’m going to have to post it back to Germany which is very annoying.
Hello, good evening and welcome. We’re back again with another instalment of The Precipice, this time a little tech-house special featuring an old friend of mine from Venezuela, Dave Delgado.
We met some time around 2000, not long after he had his own show in Caracas, playing hard acid techno and the like. He’s since calmed down a fair bit, is now a professional bass guitarist, and writes and plays deep/tech-house.
Hail and welcome, once again. Tonight, I am reiterating my h’ariginal junglist soldier credentials with a 2hr drum&bass special, alongside my ally, Scapegoat. He’s probably better known on the psytrance scene but also plays the ill junglist riddims, and we both happen to be performing next Friday at The Soul Cellar, in Southampton. Brap.FM’s Digital Fist will be on warm-up techno duties at Southampton’s premiere underground music night at The Soul Cellar, this Good Friday.
Psytrance, breakbeat, drum&bass and techno are all on the line-up. £5 on the door.
