Equipment - Decks, a mic, something to stream on and a decent wired internet connection.

As for genres? Initially: House, Breaks, DNB, Techno, the usual. Podcasts, conversations etc are also welcomed as long as they are on topic.

Alright, so in my quest to find a decent, modern chat application I have settled on Matrix and Element.

What is Matrix? In simple terms it's a decentralised Slack / Discord alternative thing. Your data is kept in one place: our private Brap.FM Matrix server. That's it.

The Brap Matrix server is not federated with other Matrix servers. That is to say, we are private. Anyone can register but as we all know, humans are a strange breed and we'd like to keep most of them at arms length.
